Rain

Last night, we celebrated the 9th anniversary of our first date. If you don't know, we met on a blind date & pretty much fell in love immediately...we were married 15 months later!

We don't typically celebrate this day although it is special. For Valentine's Day, I bought Nathaniel tickets to see Rain, a Broadway Beatles tribute show. It happened to fall on May 7th, our anniversary day.

Nathaniel completely surprised me by showing up with beautiful flowers before our date. That gave me a huge smile for the whole night! We went to dinner at Doe's-- our first time there but we preferred Bordino's. After dinner, we relived a portion of our first date by walking around Old Main Lawn. It was great weather & a beautiful night for a walk!

We didn't really know what to expect with the show, but it was awesome! It was really like a Beatles concert instead of a musical. Nathaniel loved it & he's not always the biggest fan of musicals. :-)

We had a great night celebrating. I am so thankful we met 9 years ago!
