Spring Break

While I didn't get a week off for spring break, I really enjoyed the day and a half that I did get off!  On Thursday, I took off half a day to hang with Nathaniel.  Since he was off for the week and the kids were in school, it was the perfect time for a date without having to get a babysitter!  We had an amazing lunch at Tusk and Trotter (please eat the truffled pommes frites!) and then enjoyed the beautiful Crystal Bridges museum.  I've been to Crystal Bridges three times now and I still can't believe we have a museum of that caliber in NWA!  It's truly amazing and such a gift from Helen Walton.  Of course, I was too busy having fun to take pictures of any of that...

On Friday, we enjoyed visits from Lydia, Abigail, and Mom (and Brynlee!).  It was SO much fun to have them visit!  We left the kids with a babysitter so we could all go out together.

First, we enjoyed lunch at Rick's, their favorite place to eat when in Fayetteville.  It was delicious as always!

Then, we headed to see The Hunger Games at a local theater.  It was completely packed (we should have been more prepared for that!), so we didn't get to send together.  However, we did end up with decent seats thanks to people making room for us.

After the movie, we enjoying hanging out at our house and playing Just Dance 3 for a bit.
Yep, Abigail and Lyd are pros!

Mom and Abigail had to go back home, but Brynlee and Lydia got to spend the night.  We had SO much fun with them!  Grace was thrilled to have her cousin spending the night.  She loves Brynlee so, so  much.  I really enjoyed having extended time to chat with Lydia.  It reminded me of those wonderful vacations we used to take together and had all the time in the world to talk!

Grace and Brynlee loved playing in the princess tent.
Right now, Graham is still in the parallel play stage, but I know he'll love playing with B before too long.

Thanks for coming to visit us, ladies!

I like how each of you had different colored shirts on under your black sweaters....probably unintentional but it made for cute photos! :)
