10 Months

My little guy is 10 months old!  I feel like I am getting so old because I am always saying how quickly time flies.  And it does...especially lately.  Graham continues to be such a blessing in our lives.  The other day I was remembering how nervous I was to have a little boy.  God knew I needed this sweet, cuddly little guy and he knew just how much joy he would bring to our lives!
What Graham is up to lately:

- Really enjoying his mobility!  He likes crawling a lot more now and has discovered he can just about go where he wants.  His favorite places to go include my closet (why, I have no idea!), the front door, and to the pots and pans in the kitchen.  He still likes to be on 2 feet cruising around, too.  He has been trying to stand up without pulling up but usually ends up in a downward dog position.  I still think he will walk before he is 1.  He just seems really into it.
Playing with chalk in the 65 degree February weather!
- He has been really cuddly lately with all of us.  Last night he was snuggled against my chest as Grace was sitting on my  lap.  Out of nowhere, he just reached over and held Grace's hand!  I could have died.  It was the most precious thing ever.  Grace and Graham continue to love each other although they certainly annoy each other on occasion.

- Graham's new favorite thing to do is give high fives.  If you see him, ask him for a high five.  He loves it!  He likes clapping a lot right now, too.

Looking out the front door with Grace.
- One thing he does not like is his car seat.  He is getting to the age where being in the infant seat really, really annoys and frustrates him.  The only thing that makes it better is when Grace talks to him or "reads" to him.

- Graham has 5 teeth- three on the top and 2 on the bottom.  He is another on the bottom that is about to break through.
The pantry is another fun place to play!
- Like last month, Graham continues to have small health challenges.  Good news: his asthma is better.  The doctor is planning to have him off of his every day inhaler by May and then see how he does.  Not so good news: Graham had 2 more ear infections this month, including one with that almost caused his ear drums to rupture.  He is having surgery to put tubes in next week.  I am hoping and praying it will go well and give him some relief.  He has had 6 ear infections (three double) in 4.5 months and be through 6 oral antibiotics and 1 round of shots.  Despite this, he is generally so good-natured and happy!   He handles being sick much better than I do...

Can't believe he will be 1 in just 2 months!

I like the picture grace took! Good job grace! I hope the surgery goes well next. I am sure that's scary, but it should be fine. Good luck!
