Carousel

Last week, a mere two days before Christmas, I braved (with Nathaniel, Grace, Mom, Abigail, and Tyler) the crowds to hit Tulsa's largest mall for some last minute Christmas and early baby shopping. N and I actually made a stop at Pottery Barn Kids before meeting the rest of the gang at the mall. As soon as I saw Grace, she said, "Mommy, I want to ride the horses!" After our shopping was complete, we headed off to the carousel.

This was Grace's first time on a carousel or anything like it. In the past, she's claimed she wanted to ride the horse/camel/car/(insert other moving object here), then she freaks out when we get near it. This time, she started giggling the moment she sat on the little horse. As we circled around, she broke out the "beauty queen smile" (coined by Abigail) and waved to everyone she saw. I have never seen her so excited!
