Please pray

This is a super quick post to point you over to MckMama at mycharmingkids.net.

I read her blog frequently and she and her family are going through a very difficult time. The infant that they were told wouldn't survive the womb has been very healthy for several months. Now, however, he is in ICU in very critical condition with an insanely unstable heart rate. Please pray for them and their family.

This is always one of the very first Bible verses that comes to mind when I experience sadness or tragedy:

"So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever."
