I have decided to cut out the stairs. I'm kind of over it...the seven flights up to my office are a lot. But I am going to keep up the long walks at night with N and Shi. Those are way more fun than taking the stairs!
I am not looking forward to being induced as I hear it brings on immediate, painful, non-stop contractions whereas regular labor gives you time to rest between contractions. So I am still going to pray that I don't have to be induced. Even if Gracie wants to come next Friday, that's cool, but maybe she could just come on her own right before they try to make her come.
Anyway, we are doing well! Nathaniel's last day of school was yesterday. He has basketball camp today through Saturday and then is helping with the girls' basketball camp Monday through Thursday of next week. So the whole baby-next-Friday thing works out perfectly for his schedule. The only downer is that Joel (my brother) will be in Portland Thursday through Sunday of next week...but he will come visit when he gets back, I'm sure. Another upside of not having a baby yet is that I get to go to another week of my Bible study meeting on Sunday! She really could come any time, I know, but I think I am focusing on next weekend so as to not get my hopes up about meeting her sooner.
So thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Grace will be here soon enough!

Hey, the 13 of friday is not bad!! I was married on the friday the 13!!!
I didnt progress very fast either,
but when I finally did go into labor it was very very fast!My longest labor was 3 hours, out of 3 boys! you will be ok!! keep walking it does make labor easier! Baby Grace will come when she is ready,.
I was married on Fridy the 13th too!!!... it is a lovely day (we will be married 5 years this upcoming Friday the 13th).
So, you have less than 10 days before your family of two becomes a family of 3 and baby Grace is here... GOOD LUCK!!!
Bugga was born on Friday the 13th...it's all good. ;) I hope you get your wish and Gracie comes on her own. We were once in your shoes and sadly, Bug didn't come on his own and we were induced. I've heard that too about induced labor being tougher...but here's YOUR upside, you don't have a point of comparison...tougher than what?! Right?!
Good luck! Thinking of you guys!
